Top Gear Season 32 Episode Guide

To make sure you don’t miss any of the action in the final season of BBC Top Gear UK, we’ve put together this handy episode guide to help you plan your next five weeks of watching.

Episode 1 – Top Gear does Florida

The presenters have tried many motorsports in recent years. And let’s face it, they didn’t do very well. But now that all three have their racing licenses, the producers decided it was time to send them on a motorsport mission. Team Top Gear takes on the talented Florida residents in events such as donk-car drag racing, a swamp buggy shootout, all ending at the Freedom Factory Raceway for a NASCAR-style showdown in old American police cars. Their team bus for the trip? An old camper that has honestly seen better days.

Episode 2 – Bobsledding in a Sinclair C5

Last year, Britain lost one of its greatest inventors. Sir Clive Sinclair was a true pioneer, and Chris and Fred want to celebrate his genius by reviving one of his most iconic creations: the C5. Though much derided, the Sinclair C5 was an all-electric, eco-friendly, low-speed personal mobility car, which was 40 years ahead of its time. On a mission to give this trailblazing pioneer another eccentric adventure, Fred will attempt to exceed the national speed limit as he drives the C5 down an Olympic bobsleigh track. TV Cop Cars are featured again in this episode. Just think of the Ford Gran Torino of Starsky and Hutch, the Ferrari of Magnum PI and the Jaguar of Inspector Morse. After a memory ride in some old TV favorites, the presenters decide to ‘inspire’ today’s drama producers by each choosing a brand new, high-quality hero car for a proper screen test, to prove what today’s TV agent is showing. are missing.

Episode 3 – Heavy Truck Heroes

Britain has a shortage of truck drivers. So Chris, Freddie and Paddy decided to do their part by studying hard, getting their driver’s license and becoming full-fledged drivers themselves. But once they pass the test, here’s the question: who’s the best big-rigger of the bunch? Time to hit the road, live the truck driver lifestyle and take on some tough challenges – plus a healthy dose of high-octane racing – to decide.

Episode 4 – Used Cars for Under £500

Since the start of the pandemic, used car prices in Britain, as in South Africa, have risen by almost a third in the past year alone. But don’t worry, the guys think that even on the tightest of budgets, you can still buy a reliable used car that will last no matter what you throw at it. Nice theory, but with only a few hundred pounds each to spend, it shouldn’t be long before the cracks start to appear.

Episode 5 – The Future Is Bright, The Future Is Electric

The world is changing and the days of petrol are numbered. So what does that mean for the traditional petrolhead? Chris and Paddy are on a mission to show that green doesn’t have to be boring. In fact – as they discover while testing some of the most groundbreaking new cars out there on the Top Gear test track – be it batteries, hydrogen or the brave new world of synthetic gasoline, the future of fuel looks bright. very rosy indeed.
