Brace yourself for the North Coast's best classic car show

Get ready to travel back in time as some of South Africa’s best-preserved classic cars invade Ballito.

Organized in partnership with Ballito Auto Body, the 2nd Annual Auto Show hopes to have added more than 70 cars from last year’s already successful event.

A beautifully maintained 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, one of the most iconic cars of the 20th century.

“We want to keep the love for classic cars alive and show the new generation what these great roadsters have to offer,” said Ballito Auto Body manager, Hannes Joubert.

“Knowledge about the maintenance of these cars is slowly dying out, so interesting new people will only have a positive effect in the future.”

While most of the vehicles are expected to come from KwaZulu-Natal, Joubert has confirmed that some auto clubs from other provinces will also make the trip.

Driven straight out of Miami Vice, this 1971 Dodge RT Charger is strikingly impressive.

At the time of printing, the oldest car confirmed for that day was a 1932 Hudson Essex Terraplane.

Admission to the event is free.

The show will be held on Level 6 of Ballito Junction from 10am to 3pm.
