Video footage shows the awkward moment when a Hyundai crashed into a luxury Lamborghini and then ran over its expensive hood.

The crash happened yesterday morning as the blue Hyundai i40 pulled away from an intersection in Leeds, West Yorkshire, just after a white van.

The driver did not appear to see the white Lamborghini Huracan Performante, which is worth around £250,000.

The family car crashed into the supercar – but instead of stopping, it continued to drive straight over the hood as if it weren’t there.

The photo shows the convertible that is stuck under the body of the Hyundai.

It was not clear whether the Lamborghini was a write-off, but it appeared badly damaged under the weight of the blue car.

Police arrived on the scene and confirmed that no one was seriously injured in the accident.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: ‘Today at 10:24 am police were called to a road accident involving a Lamborghini and a Hyundai at the intersection of Whitehall Road and Dixon Lane in Leeds.

“There were no serious injuries.”
