Everett Couple Find Dog After Pup Is Stolen From Moving Car – KIRO 7 News Seattle

A 1-year-old puppy who was stolen from a car stolen on Aug. 20 was found safe in Skagit County on Monday.

The car, a BMW X5, was stolen from the 11,000 block of Evergreen Way and recovered in Tulalip on Saturday.

Pumpkin, a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, was adopted by PAWS in Lynnwood last year, the last of her litter to be adopted.

Pumpkin’s owners Ginger and Matt told KIRO 7 News that Pumpkin has seasonal allergies, ear infections, and separation anxiety.

“Pumpkin brings a lot of joy and stress to Matt and myself,” Ginger said.

Ginger described Pumpkin as weighing about 65 pounds and golden brown with white legs and belly. She also has a black muzzle and a black tip on her tail.

On Monday, Pumpkin’s owners learned from the Skagit Valley Humane Society that Pumpkin had been found.

After confirming her chip at PAWS, Matt and Ginger were reunited with Pumpkin on Monday, after being separated for nine days.
