The YouTube channel came across one of the best barn find collections, including a Chevy Camaro RS and a Pontiac Trans Am Firebird.
Everyone loves a good barn find. dig up classic cars which have been undiscovered for several years is always a treat. The Hagerty YouTube Channel has his Barn Search Hunter series, where host Tom travels across the United States to check out a variety of vehicles. In this final installment of the series, Tom visits an area just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, and finds one of the best collections of barn finds he’s ever come across, and much more.
Digging up these classic cars
The first collection is remarkable. The owner of these cars is Bill, and he is clearly a car guy. The first car they look at is a BMW that has been standing still for many years and was its longtime daily driver. But recovering from open heart surgery, Bill slowed down many things in life. The BMW does drive forward but won’t go backwards, but Bill says he’s open to selling it for about $1,000. In terms of body, this car is still quite solid.
The classics keep coming
A Chevrolet Camaro RS that was his daughter’s first car is also on Bill’s property, however the next car is a surprise Bill found in someone’s yard. It’s a Pontiac Trans Am Firebird, with less than 12,000 miles on it when Bill bought it. Bill drove it for three years before a fuel pump broke. Bill emphasizes that everything is for sale here, so many of these cars have a chance at a new life. Tom then moves to another lot and meets AJ, who co-owns what Tom calls a car monument. There are 80 cars here and there are about 60 on the road.
An incredible range of cars
There are some incredible machines here. For example, we have a Chevrolet El Camino, with a Plymouth Duster nearby that is in fairly good condition. This car is still registered and still drives and is truly beautiful. A classic, early Mustang is also part of the collection and still has its original hubcaps. The aerial photos of the collection show it in full, with some crazy cars like the 1957 Chevrolet Station Wagon, with its three-speed manual transmission and luxurious finish. The whole video shows some really amazing vehicles.
