The Kia Rio S has been awarded the Vincentric 2022 Best Fleet Value in America Award for the Subcompact Hatchback segment, outperforming eight other top brand competitors.

“We are proud to receive the Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Award for the Kia Rio S 2022,” said Steve Center, COO & EVP, Kia America. “This award reaffirms our commitment to creating the best cars in their class with unsurpassed value for a wide range of lifestyles.”

To determine Vincentric’s Best Fleet Value in America™ Awards for 2022, Vincentric conducted a cost of ownership analysis measuring more than 2,000 vehicle configurations based on typical fleet usage. Using eight different cost factors — depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost and repairs — each vehicle in all 50 states was evaluated using 28 different life cycle scenarios. The winners were identified by determining which vehicles had the lowest life cycle costs in most scenarios within its segment.

“The Kia Rio outperformed eight competitors’ equipment to capture this first-ever Best Fleet Value Subcompact Hatchback victory,” said David Wurster, Vincentric President. “The Rio has proven its strong fleet value by having both the lowest maintenance costs and the lowest repair costs in its class.”
