The Kia XCeed emerged as the UK motorists’ favorite car to own with a top ranking in the annual Auto Express Driver Power ‘Best Cars To Own’ poll.
The crossover for Manufacturer of the Year from the AM Awards 2022 received the best feedback in responses from about 60,000 motorists to lead a top 10 in which the Tesla Model 3, Skoda Kodiaq and Seat Ateca were the only products not sold by Asian brands. were delivered.

Kia’s XCeed was the clear winner – an overall score of 93.3% compared to second-placed Mazda CX-5 SUVs 92.2% – with Auto Express posting an unusually strong margin of victory over the most popular runner-up winners, the Mazda CX-5 and Kia Rio.

Kia’s position as the only brand to appear twice in the top 10 of the Driver Power ‘Best Cars To Own’ survey, as it claimed four category wins: ‘Best Small SUV’ for the XCeed; ‘Best Supermini’ for the Rio; ‘Best city car’ for the Picanto; and ‘Best Compact Family Car’ for the Ceed.
The result will be a further boost for the brand, which aims to exceed 100,000 new car registrations for the first time by 2022.
