Sealed, signed RFPs are invited and will be received by the City of Jackson, Mississippi, at the City Clerk’s Office of Jackson until 3:30 PM. The RFP must be stamped by 3:30 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2022, after which time the bids will open publicly at City Hall at 219 South President Street (City Council Chambers) at City Hall for the following:

The above must comply with the specifications of the municipality. Copies of the tender forms may be obtained from the Purchasing Division, 200 South President Street, Room 604, Hood Building, and Jackson, Mississippi 39201. Copies of the RFP specifications are filed for public records with the City Clerk in accordance with House Bill No. 999, 1986 Regular Session of the Mississippi Legislature.

As a condition of selection, each contractor, bidder or tender must completed and signed Equal Business Opportunity (EBO) Plan Application, with any bid submission, in accordance with the provisions set forth by the authority of the EBO Ordinance of the City of Jackson. Failure to comply with the city’s EBO ordinance will render a contractor, bidder, or tender ineligible for award of a qualifying contract. The municipality reserves the right to reject all offers. The City also reserves the right to disclaim any informal information related to any submitted RFP. RFP awards are given to the lowest and best company submitting the lowest net price in accordance with specifications. The prize can be awarded based on the lowest cost per item; or at the lowest total cost for all items; or to accept a proposal in whole or in part. When assessing the RFP proposal, the delivery time can be taken into account. In those cases where it is known prior to advertising that it is the city’s intention to award at the lowest total cost for all items, or in a variant thereof, statements to this effect will be included on the proposal form. The lack of such a statement means that the city will make that decision during the review of the RFP.
