Sweet still at the top of the sprint car ranking

World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series point leader Brad Sweet remains at the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings this week as 29 drivers have now reached the 20-start plateau to qualify for the National Rankings.

Sweet, who won a single game this season, has a national best average of 5,708 in 24 starts.

Danny Dietrich, who won a few races in his native Pennsylvania this past weekend, including the $19,000 Steve Smith Tribute Race at Lincoln Speedway, is second nationally. Dietrich has an average finish of 6,438 in 32 races.

Anthony Macri, Brent Marks and Carson Macedo round out the top five of the national rankings.

Macri, who are 11 . wone Sunday’s feature of the season at Path Valley Speedway, leads the eastern region by 50 points above Dietrich. Dominic Scelzi remains at the top of the standings in the western region.

Jason Keith has moved to the top of the Central America region, while Cole Macedo kept the lead in the Great Lakes region.

Austin McCarl leads the Great Plains points.

With three wins in three Western PA Speedweek events, AJ Flick moved within four points of leader Sye Lynch in the PA Ohio region.

Seventy-five drivers have won 145 races together this season. Five hundred and 98 different drivers have driven a winged 410 sprint car this season.
