Insure.com compares auto insurance rates in each state for approximately 3,000 different vehicle models to identify both the: cheapest and most expensive vehicles to insure† They found that the Maserati Quattroporte is the most expensive new car to insure at an average of $5,176 per year. The 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness is now the cheapest new vehicle to insure at $1,353 a year.
