What do I have to pay for a 2022 Toyota Avalon?
The 2022 full-size Toyota Avalon has a starting price of $37,920, making it a benchmark in affordable luxury compared to European rivals. Toyota has packed its full-size flagship with standard features like Apple CarPlay, blind spot monitoring and wireless phone charging. Also, the combined 26 mpg of the Avalon is admirable given its size.
Is there a 2022 Toyota Avalon Hybrid?
While the 2022 Avalon offers affordable luxury, it falls short of efficiency standards for compact cars. However, the Toyota Avalon Hybrid marries the full-size sedan with hybrid economy figures. According to TrueCar, the Avalon Hybrid XLE gets 43 mpg in the city and 44 mpg at highway speeds. With a starting price of $38,945, it’s also just $1,025 more than the standard XLE.
Is the Kia Stinger one of the best full-size cars?
Unlike the Toyota Avalon, the Kia Stinger focuses on performance over affordable luxury. The entry-level GT-Line is equipped with a 2.5 liter turbocharged four-cylinder in-line engine that delivers 300 horsepower. If that’s not enough power for you, though, the GT2 produces 368 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque from its 3.3 liter turbocharged V6. Still, with a starting price of $52,935, the GT2 costs more than a 485-horsepower Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack.
Is a Chrysler 300 considered a luxury car?
The Chrysler 300 is a full-size luxury car with a spacious interior and optional four-wheel drive (AWD). However, the relatively thirsty, naturally aspirated 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine keeps the 300 well outside the Avalon Hybrid economy figures. A V6-equipped Chrysler 300 has a fuel economy of 19 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. But if you want a big, comfortable American sedan without top-tier Cadillac prices, the 300 is a solid option when a little tired.
Is the 2022 Volkswagen Arteon a match for the 2022 Toyota Avalon?
The 2022 Volkswagen Arteon offers handsome styling both inside and out, as well as optional AWD. However, with a lone engine option of a 2.0L turbocharged inline four-cylinder, the Arteon doesn’t offer the variety of the Avalon. Still, the 2022 Volkswagen Arteon offers affordable luxury with a starting price of $42,045.
Which car should you buy?
The 2022 Toyota Avalon Hybrid offers commendable fuel economy and affordable luxury. If you want a car that has earned its place at the top KBFs list of best full size vehicles, you will be hard pressed to find a better option. However, if you want a car with a fair balance of comfort, convenience and performance, consider a Kia Stinger. Scroll down to the next article to learn more about full-size cars!
