forza horizon how to buy cars

Forza Horizon 5 is packed with powerful cars that push the boundaries of performance, from real vehicles to concept cars. Some are fantastic on off-road tracks; others thrive on long stretches of highway. But if you are looking for speed, to see how high the speedometer goes, here are the 10 fastest cars in Forza Horizon 5.

Top 10 Fastest Cars in Forza Horizon 5

Zenvo TSR-S

Compared to the McLaren P1, the Zenvo TSR-S outperforms it in every category, from torque to top speed. Under the hood lies the Zenvo TSR-S’ prized possession: a supercharged 5.8L V8 engine, along with 1,177 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque.

What that means is that the Zenvo TSR-S reaches a top speed of 265 MPH, twelve miles faster than the McLaren P1. From 0 to 60 it only takes 2.7 seconds.

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport may not be the fastest Bugatti, but it comes close. If the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport were available in Forza Horizon 5, it would be a completely different story. The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is not only one of the fastest cars in FH5, but it also has one of the fastest accelerations on our list.

The show is run by its quad-turbocharged 8.0L W16 engine, 1200 hp, 1106 lb-ft and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. In practice, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport reaches speeds of 267 MPH; 0 to 62 clocks in at 2.5 seconds.

Bugatti Chiron

Another incredibly fast car from Bugatti is the Chiron. At first glance, the Chiron and Veyron Super Sport don’t differ that much from each other, both in terms of specifications and appearance. The quad-turbo 8.0L W16 is exchanged for a quad-turbo 8.0L W16, and the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is swapped for a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

In return, the Bugatti Chiron gets 1,500 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque. Put the Bugatti Chiron on the road and it can reach speeds of 269 mph, from 0 to 62 in just 2.3 seconds.

Porsche Taycan Turbo S

Forza Horizon 5, for the most part, shows cars that are identical to their real-life counterpart with just a few minor tweaks. What you drive in the game is very similar to how the real car handles. With the Porsche Taycan Turbo S, the game gives a huge makeover.

The real car only has a top speed of 162 MPH; that’s so pathetic compared to every car on our list. With the Welcome pack in Forza Horizon 5, the Porsche Taycan Turbo S gets a new kit. At its highest possible speed, it clocks in at 270 MPH; it accelerates from 0 to 60 in just 2.6 seconds.

Hennessey Venom GT

Take the Lotus Elise 11S from Forza Horizon 4, give it a new design and what’s left is the Hennessey Venom GT. With a twin-turbo 7.0L V8 engine under the hood, this yellow demon boosts 1451 horsepower.

In just 2.7 seconds, the Hennessey Venom GT can reach 60 MPH. Give it an open road and the Hennessey Venom GT has a top speed of 270 MPH in Forza Horizon 5, just like its real-life counterpart.

Koenigsegg ONE:1

The strange name of the Koenigsegg ONE:1 serves a purpose and gives the driver clues about how much power the car can deliver. The ONE:1 weighs 1360kg and 1360hp (that’s horsepower), creating a perfect 1:1 power-to-weight ratio; hence the first name.

In addition to the 5.0L twin-turbocharged V8 of the Koenigsegg ONE:1, this particular Koenigsegg model will have a speedometer reading of 273 MPH. Remember that name though; it won’t be the last you hear about it.

Koenigsegg Agera RS

Koenigsegg returns to outdo the latter with what may not seem like much at first, but it’s important on the car front. On paper, the Koenigsegg Agera RS and the ONE:1 are practically identical. The Agera RS no longer shares the same weight-to-power ratio; in fact it is slightly heavier.

Although both models share parts, the downward forces on the Koenigsegg Agera RS give it just a little more speed. Give the Agera RS enough speed in Forza Horizon 5 and it will reach a maximum speed of 280 MPH.

Rimac Nevera

In a twist no one saw coming, the Rimac Nevera earns its place as the second fastest car in Forza Horizon 5, surpassing the Koenigsegg Agera RS; otherwise the Agera RS would fill this spot. Where some cars beat others by just a mile or two, the Rimac Nevera beats the Koenigsegg Agera RS (in terms of top speed) at 14 MPH.

The Rimac Nevera, with its nearly 2000 horsepower and electric motors, can reach a top speed of 294 MPH. The acceleration is equally impressive, climbing to 60 MPH in just 2 seconds.

Koenigsegg Jesko

Yes, another Koenigsegg model, but this time it’s the Jesko, one of the fastest and most expensive vehicles in Forza Horizon 5. If you find a road long enough and straight enough, the Jesko can reach its expected top speed of 300 MPH surpass and speeds of 308 MPH.

Such speed is made possible thanks to the 5.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, in addition to the 9-speed manual transmission. Equally important is how well it handles, which is rated with a 10 (out of 10).

2021 Hennessey Venom F5

What’s faster than the Koenigsegg Jesko, which many players considered the fastest car? Introduced in the Hot Wheels DLC, the 2021 Hennessey Venom F5 surpassed the top speed of the Jesko, but only by a few miles. Accelerating into the big dips in the Hot Wheels expansion, the 2021 Hennessey Venom F5 can hit a top speed of 312 MPH.

That said, this only applies to the tracks in the Hot Wheels expansion; otherwise it drops to 306 MPH on a normal stretch of highway. In that sense, the Koenigsegg Jesko shares this spot with the Hennessey Venom F5 2021.

And that concludes our choice of the 10 fastest cars that you can drive in Forza Horizon 5. Looking for news about the next expansion for FH5? The Hot Wheels expansion was just announced at the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022.
