It’s a Friday again† As the weekend rolls in like waves lapping against the shore as the tide rises slowly and the sand erodes little by little, like the hours to the end of time, the question naturally arises: what are you going to do with your two days off? And, the biggest question of all, which cars will you see?
That’s right, for today’s QOTD we’ve got it car spotting† Carspotting is one of the most loved and universal hobbies of car enthusiasts; whatever your particular interests, from lowriders to trophy trucks, it brings us all together for a single purpose: to go “Hey, cool car”.
Of course, there’s little point in asking about your favorite cars of the weekend on Friday. It’s still the week, aren’t you seen your weekend cars yet. So for this question of the day, we give you all weekend to respond. Venture out into the world, experience its flaws and virtues, be reborn in the sunrise over a coast you’ve never seen before – and take some car photos while you’re there.
I, for once, won’t spend the weekend drilling holes in my Miata, so I can take some time to shoot cars around New York City. I may even stumble upon my personal white whale: the extremely loud R32 Skyline that passes my apartment once every few months, stereo and exhaust bouncing off the surrounding buildings in equal measure.
So take the weekend, wander the local roads and find something neatly parked on the street outside your nearest bodega, strip mall or dining and nightlife spot Dave & Busters. We don’t judge you by the quality of your photography, but by how cool the cars you find are. Give us your favorite car spotting shots this weekend, and we’ll be collecting them on Monday for everyone to enjoy.
